Reuse Alliance Join the Re-conomy Campaign
The 2025 Reuse Alliance campaign Join the Re-conomy positions reuse as an act of empowerment, highlighting the benefits of creating a legacy of reuse. At its core, the 2025 campaign is a cultural shift. It rejects the outdated idea that secondhand is second best and instead celebrates reuse as a smart economic choice. Every reused outfit, piece of furniture, or toy is not just an act of conservation, but represents money saved. Families who participate in reuse are not only saving dollars, but they are also sharing skills, building resilience and contributing to community wealth. Learn more at jointhereconomy.org

State of Black Design Conference
We On Point: A Celebration of Black Design Excellence
In the words of SOBD founder Omari Souza, “On June 19–20, 2025, something extraordinary unfolded in Minneapolis, MN: State of Black Design’s, We On Point – A Celebration of Black Design Excellence. Far beyond a traditional design conference, it was a sanctuary, a celebration, and a rallying cry. A space intentionally built for Black designers, creatives, students, and allies to gather in joy, resistance, and community.
We On Point brought together attendees from across the U.S. — from Minnesota to Texas, California to New York. The energy was electric from the very first moment.Over two days, the conference featured dynamic panels, deeply immersive workshops, vibrant student showcases, and powerful performances. For many, it wasn’t just about design. It was about imagining and building the future we deserve, together. The sense of community was palpable: students saw role models who looked like them, emerging designers found mentors, and seasoned professionals reconnected to their purpose.”

Hope Is An Action Word: Multimedia Campaign
As Creative Director at Sojourners, I developed our first comprehensive multimedia campaign aimed at young voters during the 2024 election cycle and beyond. The project went beyond typical political messaging to create authentic connection points and meaningful solidarity.
What we delivered:
A thoughtfully crafted zine exploring the tension between grief and hope, America's complex voting history, and actionable pathways to strengthen democracy beyond election day.
A compelling 5-part reel series featuring genuine voices from young voters addressing election concerns and motivations, designed to resonate with peers facing similar questions.
Distinctive merchandise distributed nationwide, transforming shared values into tangible community-building tools that fostered connection during a divisive political moment.
The campaign reached its audience through strategic digital promotion and in-person engagement at youth-focused conferences across the country, establishing a foundation for ongoing civic participation that extends beyond any single election cycle.
